Farfalle Pasta and broccoli with parmesan cream sauce and fresh basil
Boil one pound of pasta, with one pound of broccoli according to pasta instructions. Pour cream in pan, simmer with garlic until reduced by half, remove garlic, stir in two tablespoons of butter. Season with salt and pepper, toss in pasta, two big handfuls of grated parm, and chopped basil.
Serve hot.
Restaurant tip: Warm the bowls you serve the pasta in, to keep dinner nice and hot till the last bite. I served this with leftover sausage for the kids to prevent a carnivorous uprising.
