The Shoe Addiction- It comes early

It's the size of a Flintstone shaped pre-school foot. This week, a pair of leopard print felt Mary Janes slipped right through that chink and landed squarely on my daughter's feet.

OOOOOHHHHHH, I LOVE them!!! She cooed. Bright blue eyes staring up at me. "Mommy, they are SOOOO cute." And cute really isn't the word.

Adorable. That it.

Damn things don't come in an 8 1/2, either. So sad.

But who am I kidding? I wouldn't BUY them for myself, even if they did. I'd gaze longingly at them, consider the fact that there are about 800 other things we could do with that money, and move on. For the baby? Natch. Put 'em in the cart. No second thought required.

And to see her little face as she wiggles her feet?
Priceless.
