Freschetta Pizza. Yummy Yum Yum! a Giveaway!

Is there such a thing as bad pizza? Of course there is! There's bland, flavorless, soggy, icky. There's low quality toppings, too many toppings, too few. Then there's frozen pizza. I'm not usually a big advocate for frozen slices- I make handmade dough, age it for days in the fridge, and carefully top it for pennies.

Freschetta may have changed my mind on frozen pies. They sent me a lovely review package- six sturdy containers, along with coupons for two products to try- the Simply Inspired line, and the nice, crispy By The Slice line.

I think I ran to the store. We selected a Hawaiian Style Simply Inspired Pizza, and a six Cheese By the Slice. The store only had three of the varieties of the pizza By the Slice, and I would have liked it better if there was a meat only option, like pepperoni and sausage. There wasn't. The closest slice that would suit my finicky taster was the plain- so that's what I chose.

It was yummy! The crust was surprisingly delicious and pleasantly crunchy out of the microwave. It has just the right amount of robust sauce, and the cheese is perfect. I hate when you get a slice of pizza and an oily landslide of poor quality cheese just oozes right off. Freschetta's By the Slice is delicious, although you should bring a salad or another snack to go with it to make a full meal. Altogether, though, it's a nice, fresh slice of pizza with an appealing taste and aroma.

You can sign up for coupons here.

The Simply Inspired pizza I would definitely spend money on. Thin crust, crispy pizza is my absolute favorite, and it had just the right amount of Canadian bacon, pineapples, and smoky bacon for a very reasonable calorie lode. Since I'm a bit of a bacon-o-phile, I was a little disappointed in the bacon bits. I would prefer large chunks of crunchy pork fat- these were the smaller ones you would put on a salad, but very plentiful and flavorful.

Oh, for the love of Heaven, I hope I win this.

I've written about my suicidal kitchen appliances. And my wish for a Kenmore Elite Stand Mixer Review/Giveaway.

Well, it seems like they did one for the bigger blogs prior to Christmas, of course, but the giveaways are now, and I'm entering my little heart out and praying to all that is holy.

"Please God, let me win this Stand Mixer!" Please! Pretty Please with whipped cream and a cherry on top!

Just think of the cake batter pictures. The bread dough. You know, I could be persuaded to take some quality pictures of some quality food if I had a quality stand mixer. It might just solve my photography slump. It could save the world and cure cancer.

Or not. But it would make me very extra specially happy.

So check out the giveaway. And good luck to me to all that enter.

have you seen the Kenmore Elite Stand Mixer giveaway on DearCrissy.com this week?

Valentine's Day: it's a daddy thing.

This giveaway is closed, and the prize has been awarded.
I've got a pretty full life. Three little girls-They sparkle, they glow, they...absorb. Every little bit of me. Most of my husband. We love them with everything we have, everything we are...sun up to sun down.

We've both given up tons to embark on the parenthood journey. Me, a career that I positively adored, in favor of yoga pants and constant grammar and etiquette lessons. Him, the idea of EVER having his own spending money, weekly guys nights out drifting into monthly and finally, bi-annually.

Neither of us saw where we'd be now, even five years ago. To say our path has changed drastically is, well, an understatement. It's done a complete 180 at about 90 miles an hour.

I couldn't be happier. Most days, neither could he.

We don't purchase gifts for Valentine's day anymore. Just a card...but every year, we carry out a tradition started by my own father. The kids get a gift from daddy.

This is a very important tradition. It was started by my own father, many years ago, and my gift was a box of chocolates, left on my bed, each year. I can't even begin to put into words what that chocolate meant to me... but it was wonderful. The year I got my braces, I actually cried, convinced I wouldn't have my present.

I hadn't heard of all soft centers. There, on my sunshine and roses bed spread, my dad had fulfilled our tradition. It was a priceless minute, etched in my memory for ever. That in itself is kind of amazing...I can remember so little these days.

And so it continues. Daddy, each year, has something special for his little girls.

This year, I'm designing a special card for daddy, though. I'm really excited about it! I've used Shutterfly for colleges before, but I've never thought of having them do cards for us! I'm sure it's going to be beautiful!

Shutterfly also offers an assortment of gifts that is truly amazing. You can make a book starring your children and their favorite characters. I'm thinking Diego for MissAngelLittleGirl.

You can also custom make Christmas cards and thank you cards for a fraction of the cost of other sites.

I KNOW some of you super mommies will LOVE putting your little angels faces on custom made Valentine's day cards, so Shutterfly is offering one lucky reader a code for twenty five FREE Valentines Day cards!

Just tell me below, What does Valentine's Day mean to you? Make sure you leave an email where you can be contacted if you win! (unless it's accessible on your profile.)

The fine print: I found out about this offer on Sheblogs.org. Shutterfly is giving me 25 cards for me, and 25 for one of you! Thanks for dropping by and entering! Promotion ends February 3rd at 3pm EST.

Another Inspired by Finn Giveaway! Please..Go..Enter!

I got my first Inpired by Finn necklace today.

It's beautiful.

But then, an amazing thing happened. IT WORKED.

Both of the girls have wicked colds. I put the necklace on the baby, and within minutes, her nose dried up and the redness from her snotty nose cleared up.  I'll be honest, I thought it was a fluke.

So, I took it off her, and put it on MissAngelLittleGirl, and her nose dried up, and all the redness went away. She said, "I feel better." And the baby's nose started to run again. This back and forth bit went on all night, till I got home and ordered a second necklace.

And the oldest one wants one. They are BEAUTIFUL. So, I'm entering more giveaways, but since I love all of you, go, enter, win! I wish you all the luck in the world!

Another GREAT Inspired By Finn Giveaway!

I'm still angling to win me one of those teething necklaces! (and I sure wouldn't say no to one for mommy, either!)

But at any rate, here's another top-notch blog offering a great giveaway of a great product- the Inspired by Finn jewelry collection. This is the one with the all natural pain relief perfectly suited for little teethers.

Honestly, the prices aren't too bad, so I may just buy one (or several) of their beautiful pieces after the holiday madness dies down...but for now, I'll settle for hoping I win one!

Good luck!
